Stories of a plague year
13th March 2020
In Italy, with infectious disease everywhere, people got together to tell stories. At least, according to Boccaccio, whose book I’m holding in this picture.
He was writing about the late middle ages. Today, we can gather to tell stories online.
Normally, I teach storytelling on residential retreats, somewhere else. You can’t get a lot more residential than your own home…!
This session is not free, because I want participants to be committed, but it’s extremely jolly cheap.
Only four people can sign up: first come, first served, as they say in the supermarket loo paper department.
