A journalist has been invited to talk to the CIPD conference this week about storytelling in recruitment.
He’s doing it for Guardian Jobs, the recruitment ad site related to the Guardian newspaper.
The problem: he knows how to write magazine stories, not job ads.
But perhaps that doesn’t matter. Because he knows that readers will do anything to escape being bored.
So a writer – any writer – must instantly grab them and wrestle them to the ground.
