Write under pressure

We went among the celebrities at a global rock concert in London, for a glimpse behind the scenes.

We spoke to Bill Gates, Bono, Snoop Dogg, much of UB40, some of REM, and the head of the United Nations.

We’d been given an “Artist’s pass” by the organiser’s media team, but weren’t allowed to let anybody know. If the real artists found out, we’d be ejected.

This made it necessary to do all the writing in the mobile toilets.

The event started at 2pm and finished at 10pm. Somehow, we had to write 1,600 words for the following day’s paper, describing the entire event… by 6pm.

Think about that!
